How we handle the information you share with us when you get in touch.

1. Data controller

2. What we collect

When you use the contact form: your name, email and, optionally, your business name, phone number, the topic you are interested in and your message. When you email or call us: whatever information you choose to share.

When you visit, our hosting provider automatically logs technical data (IP address, browser type, time of access) for security and to keep the site running.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use form data only to reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to send you a proposal (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to entering a contract). Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not send newsletters or marketing messages without your explicit consent.

4. Who has access

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. We use the following providers, acting on our behalf:

Netlify, Inc. (USA): website hosting and receiving contact form messages.
Microsoft: email services.
Google: the site’s fonts are loaded from Google servers (Google Fonts), so your browser’s IP address is disclosed to Google when the page loads.

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We keep messages and contact details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a business relationship or a legal obligation requires longer.

6. Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise them, write to p.tsiavos@gelatosystem.gr. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
